Here at Egremont Primary we are justly proud of our social media channels. We see them as a wonderful tool for communicating about our school day with our wider community. It has the added benefit of highlighting to our children the power of safe, positive interactions on social media.
Furthermore, many renowned authors and international organisations have contacted us through our social media channels, which has led to many opportunities beyond the curriculum for our children.

X / Twitter
We use X on a daily basis to show off our children's work and special events in each class. We have a selection of channels:
Facebook is used much more with an eye on whole school events and support for our children and families in local areas. We also repost events from our main x/twitter channel, allowing you to stay abreast of the latest happenings if you are not a user of that platform.

A much more child focussed channel. The children produce the content for this channel before it is published by our teachers, who moderate the channel. Our instagram aims to showcase our school whilst teaching the children editing and production skills in photography and video.
