School Rules

Here at Egremont Primary, we follow three very simple rules, which we refer back to in all circumstances through our behaviour management. We expect our children to follow these rules throughout the school day, and instill within the children that these rules can become a personal code that they can carry forward on their journey through life.

READY

This, in its simplest terms, is about the children being ready, especially for learning. Ready children will show great listening, have all their equipment to hand, and bring their PE kit in on PE days, for example.

RESPECTFUL

To be respectful, our children show great learning behaviours, actively listen, and treat every member of the class with the same respect they would themselves expect. Respect is just as important on the playground too.

SAFE

When we ask our children to be safe, it is not just about keeping themselves safe. This helps develop our children ability to risk assess, keeping themselves, others, and the environment a safe place to learn and play.
